Forwarded mail is processed in memory and never written to disk. Each mailbox is its own encrypted SQLite file that only your password can open. Cure53 has audited our code twice, in May 2026 and August 2026, and its report is public. What we store, and for how long

Send with SMTP or the API on any paid plan from $3/mo. New senders start at 300 messages a day (900 on the Team plan). Your daily limit grows as you keep paying and send clean mail. According to Gmail's sender guidelines, senders should keep their spam rate under 0.1%. We use the same rate. If big mail providers reject 0.1% or more of your recipients as spam or viruses in a day, your limit can drop one step.

Time to Inbox
We measure these delivery times with our own open-source monitor. It sends test emails to inboxes at major email providers and records how long each one takes to arrive. Our engineers get an alert when a delivery takes longer than 10 seconds. Source code is available on GitHub.

We tested delivery ourselves: these figures are data from our own monitor, which sends test messages about every 5 minutes. Direct is a message from our servers to an inbox at that provider. Forwarding is a message to a Forward Email address that forwards it to that inbox. According to our latest test, every message arrived within 7.3s.
